Notice: Monday, July 20 9:00am – City wide fire hydrant flushing will begin on Monday, July 27th in the center of town working outwards from Ward 1 through Ward 4. The daily fire hydrant flushing will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm and continue throughout our community until completed.

The Fire Department and Service Department crews will begin city wide fire hydrant flushing on Monday, July 27th between the hours of 7:30am to 3:30pm. The fire hydrant flushing will begin in the center of town in Ward 1 and work outwards through all Wards until completed. The flushing typically takes approximately 2 weeks to finish.

Once the fire hydrant flushing starts you may experience cloudy water. If cloudy water is present, turn on the cold water tap and run until the water clears before consuming or using in food preparation.
