Pool Information 2021
Seltzer pool will open on May 29, 2021 and close on August 15, 2021. The pool will reopen on August 21, 22, 28, 29 and September 4,5,6.
We are continuing with the split sessions for 2021 but are modifying the hours slightly. The morning session will be from 11:00-2:30 and the afternoon session from 3:00-7:00. The morning session will be limited to pass holders and Shelby residents only. The afternoon session is open to anyone.
Community nights are June 16, July 14, and August 11.
Passes will be sold at a $5.00 discount on May 27 and 28 from 4:00 to 8:00.
Rentals are available most evenings including the days in August when the pool is closed during the day. Rental rates are as follows:
Under 50 People: $100
50 to 75 $120
75 and over $150
A $40 deposit is required when reserving the pool. The balance is due on the day of the rental.

Kids ages 3 years and under: Free
Individual (city resident): $45
Individual (outside city corporation limit): $60
Family of four or under (city resident): $110
Family of four or under (outside city corporation limit): $160
Additional family members: $15.00 each
Dates for early pass sales are May 27-28 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. , $5.00 discount. Passes will then be available at the regular prices during pool hours at the pool office.

Swim Lessons –
Swim lessons are scheduled for June 21-25 and July 19-23. Cost: $25 per student for 5 days with registration at the pool office any time prior to the start of lessons
If skills are above or below the scheduled times, we will move the swimmer to a more appropriate class after the first day!
Note: Parents will be asked to stay outside the pool gates during class time to prevent a child’s distraction away from the instructors.
