Pool Information 2026

The opening date for Seltzer Pool for the 2026 Season is Memorial Day weekend, May 24th-25th. (weather and water temperature permitting)

The pool will be closed from May 26th-May 29th.  The pool will then remain open for the remainder of the season starting May 30, 2026.

The pool will close daily operations on Sunday, August 16th.  The pool will be open the weekends of August 22 and 23, August 29 through August 30, and September 5th-7th (weather permitting last day).

Pool hours are from 11:30 am -6:30 pm.

Daily Rest Break Schedule

Open Pool           11:30 am
Rest Break          1:00-1:15 pm
Rest Break          3:00-3:15 pm
Rest Break          5:00-5:15 pm
Last Bell              6:15 pm
Close Pool           6:30 pm

Community Nights sponsored by the Shelby Foundation dates are June 28, July 26, and August 30, 2026 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

Seltzer Pool Rentals

(# of people in a rental include both on deck and in the pool)
$50 deposit required and only refundable if cancelled due to untimely weather.
$125                             Under 50 people                               Requires 2 guards
$150                             Between 50-75 people                     Requires 3 guards
$175                             Between 150 people or less            Requires 4-5 guards

**Rental reservations will be gin May 15th via email to seltzerpool@gmail.com in the order they are received.  Responses and correspondence via email scheduling will only be accepted up until the day the pool opens for the season and after, must be in person ONLY at Seltzer Pool.

Swim Lessons – 

• Sessions for swim lessons will be held on the following dates tentatively :
• June 15 through 19, evening classes starting at 6:30 pm.
• June 29th through July 3 (morning class)
• July 20 through July 24 (morning class)
• August 3 through August 7, evening class starting at 6:30 pm
• Cost: $25 per student for 5 days with registration at the pool office any time prior to the start of lessons.  Registration is only taken at Seltzer Pool during open pool hours.  We only accept cash or check.  No credit cards are accepted for payment.

Age Groups and Tentative Times

• 3 and 4 years old (must be potty trained)
• Kindergarten and First Grade
• Second to Fourth Grade
• Advanced Swimmers

Evening lessons will begin promptly at 6:30 pm for the first assigned group.  Morning lessons will begin promptly at 10 am for the first assigned group.

If skills are above or below the scheduled times, we will move the swimmer to a more appropriate class after the first day!  If a class is canceled due to weather, it will be made up at another date in the following week.
Note: Reminder, parents are NOT allowed inside the of the gates during class time to prevent distractions away from the instructors.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR SWIM LESSONS!

Community Nights

Free admission, fun and games are slated for 2025.  The dates are June 22nd, July 27th, and August 24th.  Community Nights are sponsored by The Shelby Foundation.
