Update 7/14/26 10:25am: A Peak Power Alert has been issued for our area today Tuesday, July 14 from 3pm to 7pm. Notice 7/14/2026 9:40am – Due to the forecast high temperatures and humidity this week, we may be under a Peak Power Alert Wednesday July 15, Thursday July 16, and Friday July 17 between the hours of 3pm to 7pm each day.

During a Peak Power Alert, please refrain from using high consumption appliances such as ovens and dryers, and by turning up your thermostat a couple of degrees during the listed times to help reduce the electric demand on the electrical distribution system. By following these guidelines it helps to keep our delivered cost of electricity down.
