1/22/2026 3:45pm Notice: Due to the forecast low temperatures this weekend and next week, we will likely be notified of a Peak Power Alert.

1/22/2026 – When a Peak Power Alert is issued the Utility Office will send out notices asking for electric customers to help reduce the transmission line demand during the hours of the Peak Power Alert.

During a Peak Power Alert customers can help reduce the electric load on the transmission system by avoiding the use of high demand appliances and by reducing the thermostat during the Peak Power Alert times listed.
