Service Department

Streets, Water Distribution, Sewer Collection

Personnel in the Service Department primarily work on the streets and water/sewer distribution lines. This includes:

• Repair lines and roads during water main breaks
• Placing street signs and paints markings on the street
• Performs creek maintenance and removes brush
• Performs seasonal duties, such as leaf collection and snow removal

The Service Department also has trained mechanics to repair trucks and perform vehicle maintenance on city vehicles. This department is available to resolve issues that may occur in the evenings or on weekends.
