Seltzer Pool
Pool Information 2025
The opening date for Seltzer Pool for the 2025 Season is Memorial Day weekend, May 24th-26th. (weather and water temperature permitting)
The pool will be closed from May 27th-May 30th. The pool will then remain open for the remainder of the season starting May 31, 2025.
The pool will close daily operations on Sunday, August 17th. The pool will be open the weekends of August 23 and 24 and August 30 through September 1.
Community Night dates are June 22, July 27, and August 24, 2025 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Rentals are available most evenings including the days in August when the pool is closed during the day. The hours are from 7:00-9:00 PM.
Rental rates are as follows: (number of people includes both on deck and in the pool)
Under 50 People: $125
50 to 75 $150
75 and over $175
A $50 deposit is required when reserving the pool. The balance is due on the day of the rental.

Daily pool rate: $5
Kids ages 3 years and under: Free
Concessions:
Available during pool hours and with rental packages upon request
Season Passes
Individual (city resident): $50
Individual (outside city corporation limit): $75
Family of four or under (city resident): $120
Family of four or under (outside city corporation limit): $175
Additional family members: $20.00 each
Dates for $5.00 discount early pass sales are May 18th from 5 PM to 8 PM; and May 23rd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Passes will then be available at the regular prices during pool hours at the pool office.

Swim Lessons –
Sessions for swim lessons will be held on the following dates tentatively :
June 16 through 20 (new evening class)
July 14 through July 18 (morning class)
July 28 through August 1 (morning class)
August 11 through August 1 (new evening class pending)
Cost: $25 per student for 5 days with registration at the pool office any time prior to the start of lessons
Age Groups and Tentative Times
- 3 and 4 years old (must be potty trained) Time to be determined
- Kindergarten and First Grade Time to be determined
- Second to Fourth Grade Time to be determined
- Advanced Swimmers Time to be determined
If skills are above or below the scheduled times, we will move the swimmer to a more appropriate class after the first day! If a class is canceled due to weather, it will be made up at another date in the following week.
Note: Reminder, parents are NOT allowed inside the of the gates during class time to prevent distractions away from the instructors.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR SWIM LESSONS!
Community Nights
Free admission, fun and games are slated for 2025. The dates are June 22nd, July 27th, and August 24th. Community Nights are sponsored by The Shelby Foundation.
