Recap of the streets to be paved in 2025
- Second Street – partial (not all of Second Street) Main Street to East Smiley Avenue
- Third Street
- Oak Street
- Summit Street
- McKinley Drive
- Forest Drive
- Locates (OUPS Notices – call before you dig) for the new curb ramps have been submitted by the contractor
- New ADA curb ramps will be formed and poured at the intersections where sidewalks are present
- Paving date has not been established – Update 9/23/25: Kokosing Construction will be posting no parking signs 48 hours prior to the start of paving.
Update 9/26/25 2:30pm: Kokosing Construction will begin the street paving project on Monday, September 29th.
Update 9/23/25 8:45am: Kokosing Construction will tentatively begin the 2025 street paving project later this week. Notice was provided that No Parking signs will be posted on streets prior to the paving crew beginning the paving process. The no parking on the street will be in effect until the street paving has been completed on the posted street. Upon completion of paving, the parking restriction will be lifted. Please assist the paving crews by not parking on the street when signs are posted.
The 2025 paving project should come to an end on or before October 15th, weather permitting. Any weather delays may extend the 2025 paving project schedule.
