Due to the forecast high temperatures and humidity on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of this week, we will likely be placed under a Peak Power Alert to help reduce the demand on the electric distribution grid.
Today, Tuesday, July 15th a Peak Power Alert has been issued for the hours of 3pm to 6pm this evening. Please help reduce the load on the electric distribution grid by avoiding the use of high consumption appliances from 3pm to 6pm today.

Update 7/15/25 12:39pm – Due to the path of the front, we are not experiencing the high humidity in our area at this time. The Peak Power Alert remains in effect although it is subject to change based on the humidity levels later this afternoon, and into this evening.
Update 7/15/25 2:43pm – The Peak Power Alert is still active. The current load continues to slowly increase as the temperatures continue to rise around the area.
