The Service Department will continue to pick up leaves thru the first week of December.

2019 Electric Rate Reduction

An electric rate study was recently performed by Kinect Energy. The study indicated the generation charge and distribution charge of the electric component could be reduced by approximately 11% each. The rate design recommendations were implemented. These reductions are due to cost saving measures and by the restructuring of the electric personnel.

In addition, for the next five years there will be a monthly credit on the electric (kWh's) consumed. The credit will be identified on the utility bill as a line item under Balance Levelization. This Balance Levelization is designed to lower the Electric Fund balance by approximately $200,000 per year for the next five years.

These reductions and credit will start on the bill mailed out on July 31st.
